Perfect place to stay when visiting Modica.

Despite its charm, the noise from the hallway was unbearable. I could hear every conversation and movement as if they were happening right in my room. The lack of proper soundproofing ruined the peaceful ambiance I was hoping for during my stay.

Ope, walking into this place felt like stepping back in time, with its painted ceilings and classic charm. The family was just delightful and treated us sooo well. Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh Sicilian goodies every morning. Not a thing to complain about! The only downside was the WiFi, but you can just pop outside for a better signal!

I had such a lovely time in this beautiful palazzo! The frescoed ceilings were stunning, and breakfast was a feast with unique Sicilian treats. Just be ready for some noise whilst relaxing.

while the original doors add some character, I wouldn’t call hearing every single conversation ‘charming’. I expected to be pampered, maybe a complimentary gift for my troubles? also, that Juliet balcony was nothing but a tease. almost gave a good review but just couldn’t. perhaps it’s just not my type of place.

The place enchanted us right away, with its historical charm and spacious Quadruple Room that was perfect for our large family. Plus, there was babysitting service available, making it easier for my wife and me to enjoy some time to relax while the kids were entertained.

My wife says that soundproofing could be better.

Solo travelers, must stay here

Had an lovely time. The breakfast was an absolute delight! Fresh Sicilian stuff every morning. And the host, family owned, was like family himself. Showed me around, gave tips on what to see and where to eat. Really felt at home. Plus, enjoyed relaxing in the lovely parlor with a nice view of the town.

Wasn't exactly cheap, but worth it for the experience.

It was just a commendable fit for a mini-vacation in Modica with good value considering price it charged. I loved the charming décor in the breakfast room, filled with family items. If you're staying, try the courtyard for some peace and quiet.
